It’s almost the end of summer!
It’s that time again to get the kids ready to go back to school. This time next week I will dealing with two tired girls.
We have done the school uniform shop so I have it all ready just need to put labels on it all… Which I am waiting for the post man to deliver, Hope they are here before school starts or it’s a fabric marker for this mum.
My eldest is going in to year 4, I can’t quite believe it. My youngest will be starting school. That has sure come around quick.
I know my youngest is starting to get a bit worried about starting school (she has attended pre school) to the point where she’s not sleeping to well and her behaviour is a little different than normal.
We have spoken about school and she’s been there a few times or visits, she know her teacher and some of her friends are in the same class. I’m trying to reassure her that it will all be ok and there’s nothing to worry about.
It will be good to get back into a route after 6 weeks of not really being in one so this week it’s bedtime a little earlier than it has been etc.
Will I miss the mayhem of the last 6weeks??
No I don’t think I will I’m looking forward to having a bit more quiet time while they are in school.
One thing I’m not looking forward to is getting up at 6am!
