Hello, so I have been tagged to do this Mum meme by the lovely Ally from Messed Up Mum to answer a set of questions so you can get to know a few hidden secrets about me. Here we go with
Question 1
Who was your first crush?
Oh my I remember this well it wasn’t a boy at school or anything like that. It was someone famous, I had posters of him all over my room, my crush was Christian Slater. I cant remember why or how I first saw him, although my first glimpse of him may have been in Interview with the Vampire.
Question 2
What were the last 3 things you bought?
Ohhh i seem to be buying a lot lately, well I suppose it is Christmas. I bought a present for someone and I cant really say what it is as they may be reading thing!
I have also bought some Christmas cards and the last thing was McDonald’s for the kids.
Not very exciting and there was nothing for me either lol.
Question 3
What are you secretly hoping to wake up to under the tree this year?
Well I would love a new camera lens for my DSLR as I only have the kit lens it came with and its frustrates me that I always want to zoom that bit further.
Another thing I would like is a Nutri Bullet as I would love to make some great green smoothies.
Question 4
Where would you go on holiday if you could go anywhere in the world?
Oh this is a hard question as there are so many places that I would love to visit. But I think it would be to back to somewhere that I have already been to and that’s Canada, a few years back we visited a place called Saskatoon and well I fell in love with the place and cried because I didn’t want to come home. We also have some distant family there and they made us feel so welcome and showed us all the beautiful places around them, I wouldn’t even mind all the snow and freezing temperatures they get.
Question 5
What are you reading at the moment?
I am currently reading a book called Shock of The Fall, this is the line that caught my attention and I wanted to read more to find out what happened.
“I’ll tell you what happened because it will be a good way to introduce my brother. His name is Simon. I think your going to like him. I really do. But in a couple of pages he’ll be dead.”
I haven’t picked it up for a few days but I think I will tonight, I love reading its a great way to relax.
Question 6
What was the last concert you went to?
This was a Frank Turner concert and I had an amazing time. I get lost in his music and always come away losing my voice as I have sang so much, here is one of my favourite songs it’s called Photosynthesis
Question 7
What were you like at school?
I was the quiet and shy one but with my close friends I was the funny one and felt quite confident. But as soon as I stepped out of that circle of friends I would worry about what others thought of me.
I wasn’t the cleverest and to be honest I didn’t really enjoy my high school experience, but for the subjects that I really liked I threw myself in to them. If I could go back and do it all again I would knuckle down and get good grades…. If only I had a time machine! I think this is also the reason that I push my girls to do their best and to work hard.
