Fat to Fit


So I woke up this morning and did the usual thing of having a wee and brushing my teeth. I could feel a presence in the bathroom with me, you know the feeling of someone staring at you. Slowly I turned around mid brushing my teeth and there is was sat in the corner of the bathroom…

No it wasn’t a spider or any other creepy crawly, it was the scales!!!!! They seemed to have some kind of magical pull that was making me walk towards them. Before I knew it I was stood on them, refusing to look down for fear of what they would show me.

It honestly felt like a dream and I thought I might wake up any second but no it was really happening. The scales couldn’t be wrong could they? I stepped off and stepped back on again… nope still the same number was still appearing… My heart started to  sink how could I have let myself get to this point.

 Well that’s all about to change, as you might or might  not know I have been doing some things to try to help improve my health you can check out those posts here. Now I am about to take it to the next step and focus on what I am putting in my body.

I’m using this plan more for focusing on food side as I already have a gym membership and enjoy working out but that’s not going to help me if I just keep putting crap into my body. This plan teaches you about healthy eating,  to educate you about food, burn fat and help you get fit.  I have a support coach to help me if I need advice or motivation to keep me going, to ask questions about the plan etc. Which I already have asked a few questions and I’m sure there will be more as I move through the plan.

This was a huge step to take to completely change they way I eat…. I have been eating the same way now for far to many years hence where I am at now and NOW is the time to change it. I am going to be documenting my journey through this plan so I can look back and see the progress I have made.

Are you ready to follow my journey, its going to be a bumpy one but hopefully I can inspire someone else along the way to take that step into becoming healthier.

  1. Very well done. We are currently working on changing the way we eat but tbh it is such hard work as we have really become reliant on processed foods that are just “ready.” I will be really interested in what foods you are recommended to eat. And the very best of luck with it all.
