Christmas Eve 2014

This morning when I woke I felt a little flutter of excitement….

It’s Christmas Eve!!

It was 8am the kids were still sound asleep so I sneaked down stairs to have a brew in peace. I’m sure that my eldest heard the kettle boil as I could here her now banging around her bedroom.. Thankfully she’s hitting those teenage years and enjoys spending time in her room.

Another sip of my coffee and there’s footsteps on the stairs…
In walks the imp how has a huge smile on her face and like a performer sings and dances around the room It’s Christmas Eve, I’m so excited

it’s Christmas Eve

Peace was shattered but her excitement for Christmas made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Before long my eldest came down and they couldn’t wait to open their lego advent calendars with it being the last day. If there was that much excitement over the advent calendar, I can’t wait to see what they will be like tomorrow morning.

We have had a lazyish morning with not much being done other than watching movies. There is still a tone of housework to be done.

But first we are off to see some family and drop off some presents. I really love spending time with family near and far away.

Then on to help prepare all the veg for Christmas Day lunch and that’s what I’m really looking forward to lol a good old roast dinner!!

Hopefully I can get two excited girls to sleep tonight, we have had endless visits to the Norad site already and the screams of excitement have given me a small headache.

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas Day!
