The Fault in Our Stars

So a while ago I read The fault in our stars by John Green

It was an amazing book that had me feeling happy, sad and inspired all at the same time.
Here is is the blurb:

“I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, then all at once.”
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

This book is in the Teen/Young Adult section but I had heard so much about it I wanted to read it for myself.
Although this is a book about cancer, it’s not a cancer book. It’s not your typical “tragic” book, I think its a lot more than that theres friendship and romance. I was quickly drawn in to the book and its characters Hazel and Augustus. They fall in love with each other and use Augustus’s “cancer perk” to take a trip to meet their favourite author…..
However the cancer kicks in.

I felt every emotion going but being drawn in the book so much I just didn’t see it coming even though the book is about cancer it hit me like a brick wall.
I cried it was a good job I was wearing my sunglasses as I was reading this book by the pool.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. I don’t want to give too much away as that would spoil it.
